How Long is Flight School in Florida?

We can provide this flexibility because of our authorizations as a FAR Part 141 and Part 61 authorized flight school.

How Long is Flight School in Florida?Part 141 schools have rigid timelines and syllabi, while Part 61 schools have more flexibility. Depending on the student’s circumstances, we can curate a schedule and course of study to suit the particular individual. If you learn slowly, that would be great, but if you can handle an intense course of study, we can also accommodate that.

As you compare flight schools, you’ll likely question the curriculum used. We’re proud to be one of the select few allowed to use the Jeppesen curriculum, developed by a Boeing subsidiary. We provide all necessary training materials, including software, hard copies, and manuals. This program is world-class and proven to ready pilots to fly safely and skillfully 30% faster than the national average for pilot training.

You’ll also be interested in the flight instructors. Our instructors are certified, and our team comes from all corners, with experience in different terrain and conditions. Let us know your plans, and we’ll try to partner you with an instructor who will best complement those goals.

The training fleet that we offer is also top-notch. Our aircraft are all new and impeccably maintained.

  • Primary Training Aircraft
    • Piper28 “Pilot” – single-engine flight training
    • PA-44 Seminole – multi-engine flight training
  • Specialty Training Aircraft

    • ALSIM AL172 Flight Simulator – practice safely and affordably with this ultra-realistic simulator that mimics the features and performance of our training aircraft.

The entire fleet qualifies as Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA). Each plane is equipped with advanced avionics, including Glass Cockpit technology. When you learn in our planes, you’ll easily transition to new aircraft.

Money concerns? We understand that flight training can be expensive. As a Part 141 school, we can accept students using government-backed student loans and grants, but we can also accept aviation scholarships and personal loans or savings. If you need help figuring out the labyrinth of financing options available, speak to our team. We have been operating since 2006 and know a bit about the process. We can also put you in touch with lenders with whom prior students have found success.
