For an Optimal Training Experience, Simulator Training is a Differentiator

In a recent press release, we shared several pieces of good news about Paragon Flight, primarily that we had achieved record enrollment. This accomplishment is not only due to a sustained, high level of interest in commercial pilot training nationally, but a commitment by our Chief Flight Instructor Jeff Wolf and his team of 50 flight instructors (also a record for PFT) to give our students the best, most well-rounded flight training experience possible.

Increasingly, an essential part of that flight training experience includes simulator training. Paragon Flight has made significant investments in industry-leading simulators offered by ALSIM and Redbird. The benefits of simulator training are many and varied. First, simulators bring operational efficiency to a busy school like ours, where we serve hundreds of students each year. Equally important, simulators – which provide “clean” training – complement the aviation industry’s sustainability goals. Simulators can also help students achieve in-classroom mastery of some of the most challenging aspects of learning to fly prior to actually being in-flight. For example, the Redbird Xwind simulator maximizes student training in crosswinds conditions, typically the most difficult conditions for student pilots to master in the first stages of their pilot training experience. The ALSIM simulator matches the cockpit of the Piper P100i button-for-button, giving students familiarity and comfort with the aircraft before actually flying it.

In using advanced simulator technology from the industry’s most trusted and forward-thinking companies, Paragon Flight deepens our commitment to providing the optimal training experience for our students. Simulator training is not a substitute for being in the air, but combined with traditional in-flight training it aids in developing a more confident, qualified student. At Paragon Flight, we think that’s a differentiator. But don’t take my word for it. Learn to fly with us and find out for yourself.
